SAN ANTONIO, TX Workforce Solutions Alamo released information today indicating that the San Antonio metro area unemployment rate increased to 7.3 percent in May, up from 7.0 percent reported for April. Total non-agricultural employment in the San Antonio-New Braunfels MSA expanded by 3,200 jobs (0.4%) while annual growth continued at 5,000 more jobs (0.6%) since May 2010.
