| Business South Texas is a monthly magazine, the voice for the business community in the 38 county region of South Texas including San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Brownsville, Harlingen, McAllen, Laredo, Eagle Pass and Del Rio. It is distributed throughout South Texas and in Austin, as well as in Mexico, Canada and Washington, DC.
South Texas is quickly becoming recognized as a major growth area for business: San Antonio is the eighth largest city in the country and Laredo the second fastest growing. McAllen maintains a strong, diversified economy and Corpus Christi, an active seaport. New bridges connect Laredo to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and Eagle Pass to Piedras Negras, while inland ports operate in both Laredo and San Antonio. Brownsville and Harlingen maintain strong, active business communities, as do all other cities in the area.
